Each player receives three random cards of each type. Choose two Heroes, two Armors, and two Weapons, then arrange them into two sets. Matching a Hero with its Armor adds 100 HP; matching its Weapon adds 100 DP.
Players place four walls before passing setup to the next player, until the chosen wall total is on the field. Standard games use 24 walls. Walls may be in your base, neutral territory, or an unoccupied base, but never in an occupied enemy base.
Roll once and spend every movement step before attacking. You may take a legal detour or return to the same square to use the full roll, and may split steps between either Hero. A diagonal may round one wall corner, but cannot pass through a corner closed by two walls.
After movement, every Hero may attack every reachable enemy once. Each enemy resolves separately. Heroes shield Heroes behind them; walls block attacks unless an ability says otherwise.
After attacks, each Hero that attacked may roll once and retreat. Retreat bonuses and penalties apply. You may also stay put.
A squad is eliminated when both Heroes reach 0 HP. The last squad standing wins; if the chosen turn limit is reached first, the squad with the most combined remaining HP wins.
